We are delighted to announce the programme of the 22nd EATS annual conference at the Palacky University Olomouc on 20–22 June 2025 with the theme of Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific. With a keynote speech entitled To speak the unspeakable: Can Taiwan really decolonise its international relations and knowledge production about China? given by Professor Julie Yu-wen Chen, the conference offers a total of 18 panels across the disciplines of social sciences and humanities. Taking a close look at the relationship between Taiwan and Central and East European states is a strong feature of this conference.
