Chen Shih-Pei hat auf die Stellenausschreibung im Projekt “Common Knowledge and Its Sources in the Sinosphere, 14th-20th Centuries” Working Group at MPIWG, Department “Artifacts, Action, Knowledge” hingewiesen.
The project is seeking a postdoctoral scholar for 2 years (starting February 2026).
We hope to find someone who would conduct a research project within the working group and who can contribute to the working group’s digital infrastructure (that includes a digital database of relevant sources and several digital tools for analyzing visual, textual, and geographical data) by using one’s research to drive the design and development of which. Someone with training in History / East Asian Studies AND with a broad knowledge in Digital Humanities would be ideal.
