1) Job vacancy at National Cheng Kung University’s Department of Taiwanese literature.

The university are looking to hire one full time teacher with a focus on the following specialisms: 

Expertise and experience:

       1. Research related to Taiwan literature

       2. Priority will be given to the following expertise:

            (1) Research on Taiwanese literature during the Japanese colonial period.

            (2) Inter-Asian literature and cultural studies.

            (3) Research on aboriginal language, literature, and culture.

            (4) Creative writing.

2) Summer Tai-gi classes available

Dr Yoann Goudin, a French academic, will be giving Tai-gi classes (Taiwanese Language Workshop / 台語研習營) in Taiwan this summer. There will be some sessions in Taipei and potentially more in Tainan.
